Why We're Asking for Sponsors
Sponsors fund the prizes.
We're not chasing just any ol' sponsor. We want partners where it makes sense both ways, because what a business is really doing here is putting its name behind Oklahoma's creators and showing some faith in them.
If you make something we can put in a winner's hands, great. If you don't, cash is what lets us go buy the hard drive. Either way, we'd rather tell that story with you than about you.
We've got skin in the game too. Entry fees pay the judges and rent the theater, and Noise Town is tossing a $2,000 production package into the pot as our contribution to the prize pool.
Some prizes are items, some are services, some are cash. We're aiming high — gear, studio time, production services, precious hard drives, cash where we can. We're catering the prizes toward the visual creator, because these awards represent the work of the musicians and the crews, editors, and directors who intersect to make the music video medium what it is.
There's more than one way to do this and we're flexible about what it looks like. We can also run donations through a 501(c)(3) — either RAFT or Circle Cinema — if that's a better fit for how your business gives. Here are some options that we hope can be a starting point for any interested group!

Sponsors also have the option to set up a table at the event. And there's more happening that day than the screening — before the show we'll have panels with select creators and professionals, and afterward a winners' circle "rig rundown" in Circle Cinema's lobby, where the winners get to walk through their process in more detail.
